2021 Free-for-Wall, Community Art Exhibition: “Quarantine” Virtual Reception
Join ArtStart for a virtual discussion and 360 gallery tour of the 2021 Free-for-Wall:Community Art Exhibition called “Quarantine” on February 4, at 6:00pm on Zoom or Live on ArtStart’s Facebook Page . Interested Artists are invited to talk briefly about their submission during the virtual tour. The virtual event is free and open to the public with a maximum capacity of 100 viewers. A recording will be available on ArtStart’s website for viewing after the event.
WXPR and ArtStart Present....In Progress
In Progress is a live-stream event held the last Wednesday of every month at 7PM Central on ArtStart's Facebook Page .
Participants are welcome to upload a video or photo (ahead of time) showcasing their work. They can submit a video presenting or performing an original piece of art or they may submit a photo of the artwork along with a text description which will be read by the host during the event.
Videos must be under 1GB in size, must have decent lighting and sound quality, and must be under 10 minutes in length.(Here is a great example of what type of quality we're looking for.)
This event is first come, first served, but submissions may be rejected if they fail to comply with the specifications listed above. If you have any issues submitting a file, you may put a note in the question section of the form with any questions.
The host, Nate Sheppard will curate the artwork live during the live-stream, so you can interact and show your support for our local artists who choose to submit. Audience members are welcome to join the live-stream.

2021 Free-for-Wall, Community Art Exhibition: “Quarantine” Art Pick Up Dates
All artwork MUST be picked up at ArtStart on FEBRUARY 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12, 10am - 4 pm. ArtStart will not be able to store artwork after March 31. Call or email Ashley for more information, 715-362-4328, email@example.com.
In celebration of International Lego Day, ArtStart will be hosting a youth lego contest January 28 through February 5. Prizes will be awarded to the three most creative lego structures. There is no entry fee. Lego build ideas must be original and only one submission will be allowed per child. Entries can be submitted online at artstartrhinelander.org and a photo is required. The deadline to submit is February 5. Winners will be announced on February 15 through ArtStart’s website. All entry photos, the child’s first name, and age will be shared on the ArtStart website in February.
School District of Rhinelander K-12 Art Exhibition
Celebrate and view artwork created by students in the Rhinelander School District, grades K-12. Student work consists of a variety of media including paintings, drawings, prints, collage, ceramic sculpture, and mixed media. GFWC Rhinelander Woman's Club Student Writing Contest submissions will also be on display.

Interested Artists are invited to talk briefly about their submission during the virtual tour. The virtual event is free and open to the public with a maximum capacity of 100 viewers.
Community members can support ArtStart and selected local musicians by purchasing a unique, and personalized Valentine’s Day Singing Gram, February 1st through 10th at ArtStart’s website (artstartrhinelander.org). Each musician will have a demo video and list of 10 love songs. A personalized, video recorded love song will be emailed to each purchaser to share with their loved one in celebration of the Valentine’s Day holiday. Three purchase options are available. For $25, the supporter can choose a musician and the musician will choose the song. For $50, the supporter can choose both a musician and a song from the musician’s song list. And for $100, the supporter can choose a musician and request a song not on the musician’s song list.
ArtStart and WXPR Present...In Progress
In Progress is an evening for community members to connect and share any work that is "in progress". Since COVID-19, the event has been hosted Live on our Facebook page by Nate Sheppard Media. It is held the last Wednesday of every month at 7pm.

ArtStart Giving Tuesday Rally 2020
Our Giving Tuesday Virtual Rally was an amazing event filled with musical performances, small group discussions, and authentic appreciation and support from our community.
