Current Volunteer Opportunities
Gallery Assistants/Docents
We need volunteers to staff ArtStart during gallery opening hours (Thurs - Sat. 11am - 4pm) Qualifications include enthusiasm for art and people! On-the-job training will be provided.
Youth Arts Education Team
Are you interested in youth arts education? If you have ideas, enthusiasm and, most of all, the willingness to put your ideas and enthusiasm into action, join the team! Everyone is welcome—you do not need to be a working artist to participate—there are many ways to be creative!
Communications and Publicity
Interested in spreading the word about ArtStart? We need people willing to distribute posters and flyers throughout the Northwoods.
Party & Events Team
Do you like to plan parties, create delicious treats or shop for decorations? Then this is the team for you!
General office work, cleaning, shoveling
We need help with mailings, filing, helping to keep the galleries clean, shoveling our steps and handicap accessible ramp. If you can help us with these important day-to-day tasks, let us know!
